Weekly Roasts: Siemasu and Uncommon
Discover two newly released coffees: a juicy natural processed Rwandan from Siemasu Coffee Company, and an aerobic honey processed Brazilian with wild spice notes from Uncommon.
Dear coffee lovers,
As we've come to expect from Frank Ocean, he marked his birthday with a surprise drop. This time, it was a vinyl release of his debut LP, Channel Orange. Thanks to a timely heads-up from William Kang, writer of 3rdspacesound, I managed to get a copy before it sold out.
A few other internet gems worth sharing: a beautifully designed new tasting cup from Tanat, Pentagram’s fresh identity for Bottega in Brooklyn, and a nostalgic look back at vintage ads for Nintendo’s Game Boy Color.
Today’s Weekly Roasts include a juicy, natural processed Rwandan coffee from Siemasu Coffee Company in Tampere, Finland and an aerobic honey processed Brazilian coffee — with a unique, layered spice profile — from Uncommon in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Let’s dive in! 👀

Note from the roaster:
This vibrant and fruity coffee comes from the Rugali washing station, located in Rwanda’s Western Province at an altitude of 1,550 meters near Lake Kivu. The region’s high elevation and volcanic soil provide ideal conditions for growing high-quality Arabica beans. Rugali coffee is processed using the natural method, where ripe coffee cherries are handpicked and laid out to dry under the sun on raised beds.
